Crochet Purse

This article is for us girls who either like to crochet, or we like nice things. I have found a way to have both! I love to crochet things that are useful and what girl doesn’t have Twenty purses in their closet? Ok, maybe that’s just me, but I’m sure you at least have one for an elegant evening out, one for everyday, and one that you got from a friend as a gift. Even though the last one is hideous, you still keep it and throw some stuff in it when you go out with that person.
Anyway, we all use purses at one time or another and I have found that crochet purses are not only coming back in style, they have some very trendy designs. I like to crochet them because I can pick the perfect color to go with the perfect outfit and even the perfect design, which makes for a tri-perfect crochet purse. Even if you have never crocheted a day in your life or are an advanced crochet artist, there is a purse for you. I also like the fact that the world is more organic now and you can actually buy organic yarn and other materials for making purses. The purse that I made sure is better for the world and for my pocket book than that $300 snake skin purse that was designed by Angel Jackson Chandra! But killing snakes aside, making your own purses also puts a little of your own personality into your work.
I have been going to craft shows for about six years now and I’ve taken blankets, scarves, hats, placemats, doilies, pillows, and then some. I have made more money off my purses than I have with everything else put together. So this is also a good time to start crocheting if you are wanting to make some extra money. It also doesn’t take as much investment as making blankets and it surely doesn’t take as much time as it does making doilies! So what are you waiting for? Get started now!
